What Can Moisturizing Gloves Do for You?

To use moisturizing gloves, wash your hands and apply your lotion or cream. Slip your hands into the gloves. Wear regularly to maintain soft, smooth hands.

Moisturizing gloves are most effective if worn while relaxing. Moisturizing gloves are made of a spandex or nylon material, the soft outer gloves are lined with a gel formula, which contains emollients, or skin-softening agents, and anti-oxidants, typical ingredients include vitamin E oil, olive oil, or jojoba oil.

When you wear the moisturizing gloves, the outer fabric serves to trap body heat inside the glove. The heat causes the pores to open, allowing the moisturizing gel to penetrate the skin. You may experience an immediate improvement in skin appearance and feel after using the moisturizing gloves.

Moisturizing gloves can be reused and last to three months before the gel runs out. They can be washed, but don't putting them into the dryer, that will destroy the gel layer. Most manufacturers of the gloves also offer moisturizing socks, which operate in the same way.
